for Saxophone and Harp (2018)

For me, the feeling of this piece is water floating in the air like a stream while turning around and drawing a circle in various shapes. It feels like a small planet orbiting around the melody.

It's a short piece, but I think it has the potential to be bigger. Perhaps one day it will end up as a saxophone concerto.

この曲の感じとしては水がクルクルと回りながらストリームのように宙に浮いてて色んな形で円を描き流れていく感じで、ラインが流れる所の周りを小さな惑星みたいなのがクルクルと回る感じです。

短い曲ですが、将来サックス協奏曲とかなり得るくらい、かなり拡大要素の多い曲かな、と思います。

サックスの重音とハープのトレモロが一体化した時の音の感触と「さわさわ」感が感じられる組み合わせを、この作品を委嘱してくださった白井奈緒美さんと毎日のようにメールでやりとりしながら、探っていきました。
